Commodore Perry Watts The photo is of Commodore Perry Watts taken in the mid to late 1800's. Perry was my gg grandfather. I am trying to find and prove his father's name. I know he and his two brother's arrived in Livingston Parish, La. about 1849 with their mother Cinthia Putnam. His brothers are Francis Marion and George Washington. The 1850 census confirms this. There are many references to a Francis Marion Watts Sr. as Commodore's father but no proof as of yet. Another Possible course is a watts line stemmed from William Watts sr. and Cinthy Black.
