Also, some about Amer. Indian heritage, but nothing definite, and not sure that was Watts or a wife,or just a story. My granddad was a storyteller. Does it look like we connect up in the Watts line? They had 6 children, Clement C Watts b. 10/15/1856 (my grandfather) William R. Watts b. 1846, Melvina Watts b. 1845, Jackson Watts b. 1855, Isam Watts b. 1858, Susan Watts b. 1861. We can not find any information on his parents. I would like to find any one that can help me find this. Thank You, Barbara Watts Martin ******************************************** THOMAS WATTS AND LYDIA BOWEN BIBLE RECORDS This is information I found in a Bible dated 1874 that once belonged to a family with the name of Bowen. Copies of the Bible leafs were made and donated to the VA Historical Society by a Mr. William E. Trout in 1981. I contacted Mr. Trout in May of 1997 and was told that he does a lot of historical research, and in his findings was the Bible mentioned above. He has no other information to give - he has no idea where he came across it. As he may have had it for some time, before realizing that it had information he should give to the VA H.S. This is the information found written in the Bible: John Watts and Sarah Bowen Watts are the parents of Thomas Watts.
